CareFlex ComfySlide roller or flat sheets are made from silicone impregnated nylon. They can be used to assist in a vast range of transfers, making the movement almost friction-free and helping to remove the need for manual lifting. All ComfySlide sheets can be machine washed and tumble dried, although fabric conditioner should not be used.
ComfySlide
ComfySlides are roller slide sheets. This means that a single sheet has had both ends joined to create a loop. Roller slide sheets allow movement backwards or forwards either horizontally or vertically making them very versatile. They can be used in many ways including sliding a person up the bed to a sitting position or they can be left under a patient in bed, ready to use when the person has to turn over.

ComfySlide Packs
ComfySlide Packs consist of two flat slide sheets that are used by placing one sheet on top of the other and facilitate the widest range of moving and handling techniques as they allow the patient to be moved in all directions. Flat sheets should not be used to transfer from one product to another and should only be used by those who have had specific moving and handling training. The flat sheets have webbing handles sewn along the long edges and four ‘pulley’ straps that can be clipped to the handles.
