Hello HydroCare

There is an exciting new chair in the CareFlex range, making a welcome addition to the nursing home market where outstanding comfort, ease of use and homely good looks are essential.

Say hello to the HydroCare, which will look at home in any front room. Traditional upholstery methods have been used to give the chair clean lines and a welcoming feel. They also hide the dynamic features you would expect from a CareFlex chair, like a large range of seat depth adjustment, back angle recline and seat angle adjustment. The HydroCare is also available in nine combinations of seat height and seat width so a good, supportive fit can be achieved for a wide range of people.

As the HydroCare is fitted with CareFlex’s WaterCell Technology® in the seat, most pressure relief needs are addressed as standard. From the three back options available for the HydroCare, CareFlex can also confidently guarantee high levels of comfort.

CareFlex launch their newly Enhanced Rehab Chair: The HydroFlex

Since its launch 3 years ago the innovative HydroFlex from CareFlex has proven to be a practical seating solution for a wide variety of clients. The HydroFlex was developed to be used as a rehabilitation product and has been successfully specified in stroke rehab, for patients with spinal and head injuries, as well as for clients with complex neurological and posture management needs. It has proved to be immensely popular with healthcare professionals and clients alike. It is a product that is much admired for its effectiveness, its simplicity and robustness.

As a result of continual feedback from the market and monitoring of HydroFlex usage, CareFlex have now launched an enhanced version for 2011. These enhancements include an articulating back to accommodate kyphosis and more complex head positioning issues and fixed covers to provide a crisp, clean finish. The cost neutral fixed cover option greatly reduces the need for hook and loop fixings, which may make the chair more appropriate in areas where infection control is a significant consideration. CareFlex has also introduced a single side release mechanism for the footplate to greatly simplify adjustment and operation.

The HydroFlex also features new adjustable lateral accessory options to further improve the posture control offered by the chair.

The enhanced HydroFlex continues to offer seat depth adjustment, various seat heights and widths, along with CareFlex’s Water Cell Technology for integral pressure relief as standard.
