Supporting the NHS
Over the last 25 years we have built up many long lasting relationships, we take pride in our partnership with the NHS and are proud of our special relationship with many hospitals around the UK. CareFlex invests in these relationships and it’s not just a case of just providing Specialist Seating as we carry out seating assessments, conduct comprehensive product training and study days and educate Health Care Professionals on topics such as posture and pressure management.
We have promised that we will support the NHS and will prioritise their Specialist Seating provisions so that we can help in their fight against COVID-19. Last week we received an order from the ICU unit of our local hospital for 40 x HydroTilt chairs, these chairs are going to be used in a critical care setting, to help assist with the care of COVID-19 patients (The HydroTilt can assist with respiratory function, as well as the other benefits of comfort, pressure redistribution, posture management and independence). After the crisis the chairs will be disbursed throughout the hospital for general use on various wards. The hospital said that they were “over the moon” with the speed in which we have been able to facilitate their request.
Along with the 40 x HydroTilt’s leaving us this week are ‘Thank you NHS’ pictures from the children of team members here at CareFlex, just a little something to show our appreciation to all NHS workers and their tireless dedication and sacrifice.
So from a one-off next day emergency chair to 40 x HydroTilt’s for an acute ward in a NHS hospital, our promise is that we will support you with any Specialist Seating need or requirements you may have. We will prioritise any NHS Specialist Seating needs to ensure that we do our part to support the marvellous work of our fantastic NHS.
