I just wanted to thank you for your expert input last week.

The adjustments made have made such a remarkable difference.

The care home staff are finding it much easier to position the patient well and the carryover is better.

The patient himself stated that he is so much happier in the chair (more comfortable and able to better participate in functional tasks) - he even commented on it to my social work colleague today when she visited.

Thank you so much for coming to meet Jackie yesterday, it really was a wonderful moment seeing her sat comfortably at the door, feeling the breeze on her face. It is no exaggeration to say it is the most alert, happy and engaged I have seen her since I first met Jackie back in July. It was really refreshing to work alongside someone who clearly loves their job and truly gets the "why" behind what we do. There are many seating "specialists" that sadly don't have the same ethos, which can be really awkward during assessments and not a positive experience for the customer, or the OT!

Thank you so much for your promptness, care and attention, it means the world to us. We really appreciate you making the time to deliver it earlier than planned. Dad's really really happy in the chair and has appeared much more alert since he's been in it which is great!  

Dad had a fabulous party today, he's loved it!!

Your chair is so good for our Mum

Your chair is so good for our Mum that she is doing really well since she’s had it.  

 So well, in fact, that she is putting on weight! 

Is it possible to have the chair adjusted? It’s become a tight fit!!

The chair has already made a difference to his quality of life. 

Just to feedback that he has had the multiadjust chair for approx. 4 weeks now, and the feedback is positive! 

The care home have built up his time sitting out, and he now sits out most days for approx. 2-2.5 hours. This is usually late morning into early afternoon so he can go to the lounge and engage with the daily entertainment/ have lunch  in the communal area. 

They report he seems much more engaged in the world around him, which is a huge change from being in his bed 24/7 with cots sides and bumpers up. 

They are aware to adjust the tilt regularly and monitor for pressure areas. 

The care home wished to pass on their thanks for the chair loan- it has already made a difference to his quality of life.

The chair has been a huge success

I went to review today and I just wanted to let you know that the chair has been a huge success. He is so much more relaxed, looks brighter and is engaging with the staff. To the point that we are getting car/train noises whilst the staff are moving him between bedroom and lounge. They are using a in situ sling and this is working well, virtually no agitation now when hoisting
